+WATT WHEY PROTEIN 90
Food supplement

Whey Protein 90 are 90% whey Protein obtained by micro-ultrafiltration (CFM) with the addition of vitamins. GLUTEN FREE.

90% whey protein with a low fat and carbohydrate content, easily digestible. The high protein content (90%) and the great solubility make it an easy-to-use product, ideal for maintaining muscle mass and for protein supplementation.

In the human body, Protein have a mainly plastic/structural function. Protein provide most of the "building blocks" (amino acids) with which we are made and become substrates of an energy nature only under very specific conditions (e.g. prolonged fasting). The rate of absorption of amino acids and small peptides in the gastrointestinal tract differs substantially depending on the type of protein from which they are derived. Whey protein has a relatively short residence time in the stomach and enters the small intestine faster than casein. This is the basis of a better absorption and digestibility of these Protein whose intake causes a considerable increase in free amino acids in the blood in less than an hour from intake.
The increase in blood amino acids with whey protein is physiologically important if it occurs during the time interval ranging from 1 to 2 hours after training; period where muscle protein synthesis is maximal in athletes.
The filtration technique that allows the extraction of Protein from the whey is a physical process which therefore does not involve the use of chemical agents, also guaranteeing a high protein percentage (min. 90%).
The high percentage allows for a minimum quantity of lactose such as to be tolerated even by those with a slight intolerance to this sugar.
These Protein are suitable in the final phase of preparation for body building competitions, given their "purity" and very low sugar and fat content.
B vitamins have been added to the formulation, essential for transforming food into energy, as they play a fundamental role in the construction of hemoglobin (molecule used to transport oxygen in our muscles) and, together with vitamin C, have an antioxidant Energy.

*Caseins and whey Protein are the protein sources of milk.
French researchers have demonstrated that caseins and whey Protein have different digestibility and availability in the body.
Caseins are digested more slowly than whey Protein, helping to soothe the feeling of satiety for longer. Whey Protein, on the other hand, are a source of Protein and, therefore, of more rapidly used amino acids, indicated for transporting amino acids to the cells in a shorter time.

The message to Bodybuilders regarding protein supplementation with whey or casein Protein is that they are easier to use than consuming whole or skim milk, as they are concentrated Protein with a low sugar and fat content (American Journal Clinical Nutrition, 84:1070-1079 ).
