By the term acetyl l-carnitine, we consider the acetyl ester of L-carnitine (also called ALCAR). From a physiological point of view, acetylL-carnitine plays very similar roles to carnitine: it is a key element in the oxidation of fatty acids and thus in their breakdown for the purpose of producing energy. This process is particularly important because fatty acids are the main 'nourishment' for the mitochondria, the cell's energy stations. The main difference with the non-acetylated form (i.e. 'classic' carnitine) is the increased bioavailability of this molecule, making it an even more efficient transporter of fatty acids. It is important, when one wants to improve one's energy levels, to ensure a correct supply of carnitine to the body. A deficiency of carnitine causes a reduction in the concentration of fatty acids in the mitochondria and consequently reduced energy production (because acyl-COA, the molecule responsible for transporting fats, cannot pass the cell membrane). Furthermore, still talking about bioavailability, it is interesting to consider the data that also seem to suggest a more efficient absorption of the acetylated form. What is Carnitine 3000 Liquid Carnipure®? Alphazer® Carnitine 3000 Liquid Carnipure® is a dietary supplement that provides 980 mg L-Carnitine Tartrate Carnipure® and 333 mg Acetyl L-Carnitine per daily dose. Each vial contains an impressive 2,667 mg of pure L-Carnitine in liquid form. Carnitine 3000 Liquid also contains vitamin B6. Vitamin B6* contributes to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism, normal protein and glycogen metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. The main metabolic function of Carnitine 3000 Liquid is to transport long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondrial matrix for beta-oxidation. Carnipure® tartrate is the stable crystallised salt produced from crystalline, food grade equivalent Carnipure® L-tartaric acid, in a molar ratio of 2:1 (i.e. approximately 68% L-Carnitine and 32% L-tartaric acid, which is the highest concentration of L-Carnitine of any non-hygroscopic salt form currently available). As outlined above, the main metabolic function of Carnipure® L-Carnitine is to transport long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondrial matrix for beta-oxidation, and thus to break down lipids for energy production. Beta-oxidation is in fact the metabolic pathway for utilising fat deposits as a primary source of energy. This pathway occurs in the part of the cell called the mitochondrial matrix, and L-Carnitine is essential for the transport of fatty acids in this very district. Due to its ability to pass the mitochondrial membrane, acetyl-L carnitine exerts a nootropic and neuroprotective action, improving cognitive function and exerting a stimulating and energising effect on both the physical and mental level. This function is essential to ensure better muscle recovery in athletes who need support after intense performance. Benefits of our supplement Why choose Carnitine 3000 Liquid: Improves fatty acid oxidation; Supports cognitive activities; Has an energising effect on the mind and physique; Ensures optimal post-activity recovery; It is composed of L-carnitine Tartrate and Acetyl L-carnitine, making it highly bioavailable; It is easy and ready to use, thanks to its liquid vial format; Relieves symptoms of fatigue. When and how to take it Take 1/3 vial (approx. 8.3 ml) daily, either pure or diluted with water. Always shake carefully before use. In order to reduce fatigue and improve energy levels during a training session, we recommend taking it about 30 minutes beforehand.
